Is that really all Kishimoto thinks of her? Really? After all the improvements she's made, and all the glimpses of her awesome potential, she is once again relegated to a teary-eyed fangirl watching from the sidelines? And worst of all? It's what she "chooses" to be. Sadly, I cant even say I didn't see it coming.

I firmly believe it now. He hates Sakura. He doesn't like any of the other females either, but Sakura? Hates. If Naruto represents him, and Sasuke his childhood BFF/rival, then Sakura must be the girl who repeatedly turned him down, and not very nicely. This is his revenge.

I'm so fed up I can't even be angry anymore. If I hadn't invested too much time and effort into this series to not see how it ends, I would have quit already.

I agree. I was disappointed at how despite all she's done and capable of she still comes across as a weak, helpless child at the end of it. But that's what fanfiction's for I guess.

I quit a long time ago... I had a feeling it was just going to go downhill like many of these marathon series do.

I'm sad it was true and glad that I don't feel invested in it like a lot of people. I'm also sad that's it's turning out to be so shitty because he COULD have done SO MUCH with it.

You know, when she said "After all,I was not ready yet..." (or something like that),I said to myself "Yeah! Sakura is going to train!!!! this Is Saskura's improvement time!!!!"

This is not a manga, I tell you... this is some sort of catholic preaching parody,and Sakura is some sort of weird mix between Maria Magdalena and your "every day catholic, with low selfsteem" that church seems to love.

I'm also pretty disappointed with this. I was so happy to see her change into a character that I actually enjoyed reading about. But then to have change back to how she was when I didn't particularly care for her?

I really wish that I didn't invest so much time into this or else, like you, I would quit reading it.

I love Sakura and I've followed the series just to see her character develop! And then in the latest issues of the manga, she, once again, begins to look useless...

I've written a few fan fictions for her because she's my favorite character in the series. When I write about her, I want her to be the character that's tough and someone that no one expects her to be. I read your fanfics and I really love her character! But it's so sad because when you go back to the main series, she's nothing but another character who gets protected and sometimes becomes a burden.... :(:(

I hate how Sakura's just standing in the sidelines.
She should so get more show time. I sincerely wish the series was named "Sakura" because then it'd be smarter, more interesting, and just plain better.

Oh lord. You posted this a while ago, but I stumbled on it and raged all over again. I can't believe what Kishimoto has turned Sakura into. She's my absolute favorite character, the one I really want to see succeed because she has such potential to be a complete badass. Medical jutsu, precision chakra control, and Herculean strength? HOW DOES THIS GIRL NOT KICK EVERYONE'S ASS? Why is she still standing there looking pretty? I'm in complete agreement with you, Kishimoto makes me absolutely sick with the way he throws away valuable characters. He had his chance to redeem himself in my eyes, and he pulled *this* stunt. I'm sick of seeing Naruto, Kakashi and everyone else have to defend her, when she's more than capable of defending herself. Kishi promised us that we'd see a more "heroine" Sakura, and I haven't seen any evidence of this yet.
