Everyone around him suffers from trauma and you dont see THEM acting like gigantic douches. His best friend rivals and probably surpasses him on the trauma front, because he might have grown up alone, but at least HE had the (undeserved)respect and admiration of everyone around him.

NaruSaku: Why do they have to hook up? WHY cant they just be BFFs? Where is the rule that says boy/girl cant be JUST friends? Also, theyre too sibling-like to be romantic. Also also, Sakura is not a prize for the hero. She never liked him that way before, she shouldnt be made to like him all of a sudden just because he got powerful and popular. Genderfail, as well as character fail. AND lets not forget: Sakura treated Naruto like dirt for many years. Nobody seems to look at it this way, but why should Naruto eternally pine and long for a girl who dissed him and put him down to boost her own self esteem? True, she doesnt act like that anymore, but sometimes she still treats him like an idiot with the plague.

And this is my own personal interpretation: she loves him. as a FRIEND. she doesnt have romantic feelings for him, otherwise she wouldnt be so cagey about anything resembling intimacy (like a date). And theres no evidence that he still crushes on her. In almost all of pt2 he barely notices her most times because hes too busy being the hero.

NaruHina: General stupid-boy fail for not noticing her crush all these years. Fail on Hinata for not trying to make herself more noticeable. Get over your shyness and TALK to the boy, jesus. If she wasnt such a mouse she could have had him wrapped around her finger by now. Fail that she needed to act suicidal for him to notice, and fail that she felt a life or death situation was the only way she could be brave enough to speak her mind. Fail on the Hyuugas for raising her--their HEIR!--to be so timid and insecure.

Interestingly, they share one thing in common: tunnel vision. Theyre both so focused on one thing that they fail to notice whats right around them, in Hinata's case: Kiba's feelings for her. Other fail: Hinatas feelings may not be truly genuine. She hero worships him, and hero worship is rarely an accurate insight. She hardly knows anything about him as a real person, because they havent had more than a 5 min conversation, ever.

Needs coloring lessons from Kubo Tite. Kishi's overall artisticness is mostly fail. His coloring and his linework have the same problem: laziness. Hes got a whole team of assistants to do background work, yet the characters all look like they took 30 sec to draw. The hair...gawd. Simpsons, anyone? The only thing he does well are facial expressions, Ill give him that.

This is not a problem with the women. Its not because we are physically weaker. These are not the middle ages; theres no sword swinging here--a rifle only weighs 8 lbs and it takes nothing to pull a trigger. There are women who are stronger than some men. (FYI, in some cultures, women DID go into battle in those sword-swinging days). Its not because we're slower, in fact the opposite is true; women have greater agility, reflexes and overall movement speed than men. Its not even because we're psychologically frailer, that we dont have what it takes mentally to kill, or to see our comrades die.

Regardless of the common conception, none of those things have anything to do with it.

Women arent allowed in combat because MEN CANT HANDLE IT. Humans are still animals at a base level, and our animal/caveman programming is still very much active underneath the layers of intellect and reason. The caveman part of a mans brain is still hardwired with the need to PROTECT THE FEMALE of the species. Its THEM that cant kill US (as an enemy) and its THEM that cant bear to watch US die. A study proved that a man will risk himself and the mission to save a fallen female comrade even when shes beyond saving, usually choosing to save the female over another fallen male, even if she is dead and the other dude can be saved.

Its genderfail at its most instinctive level. That part of the male brain still hasnt evolved.

Minato regarding Naruto: I understand why he sacrificed himself, leaving his son an orphan. He saved the entire village. But he should have ensured his child would be taken care of, made provisions for someone to raise him and love him at the very least.

Naruto regarding Minato: Hes old enough now that he should have figured it out or at least suspected just by looking in the mirror. And this is fail regarding both parents: when he was told his mothers name he should have researched and found out all he could...Im sure that would have led him to his father as well. Also, the moment in Naruto's subconscious...he could and should have asked more/better questions. And he should have punched him in the face, not the gut. XD

Lets just address cosplay in general, since my issues with Sasuke!cosplay are the same as my issues with all of it.

Lack of creativity. I understand not everyone can sew or whatnot, and not everyone has lots of money to make spectacular costumes...but at least try your best and not half-ass it with some taped on cardboard and a clown wig. What the hell is with the wigs?!?! Especially Kakashi's (dead animal) and Naruto's (neon yellow).

Also, dont dress up as Kamina or Sasuke or any shirtless warrior character unless you have the physique required to play that warrior-type. Similarly, dont dress as Ino or Yoko or anyone wearing skintight/scant clothing...if youre fat. Im not trying to be mean. Theres nothing wrong with being bigger, but dont let it all hang out like youre fit. Have a little self-respect.

Danzou: Butthurt is always fail, and Danzou is one giant steaming pile of butthurt. (just like Madara, which is one more credit point toward the theory they are the same person). Also, covering half your body in bandages is fail. Ever heard of an eyepatch? So maybe he's scarred...well he lives in a village of warriors--nobody cares. Raidou comes to mind. Way to be a pansy, Mr. Butthurt.

Deidara: I love Dei to death, but man he's got some serious fail. If he wasnt so arrogant, he would have killed Sasuke, not gotten ambushed by Godmod!Sauce while he's gloating and cheering for himself. Also, he killed himself and accomplished nothing in the process. What a waste of talent and brilliance. :FFFF

WHAT clothing design? You mean those potato sacks everyone wears? Lol. Man there is so much fail here. First- open toed shoes? Real ninja boots werent open toed, and for a good reason; theyd get filthy, frozen, burned, stabbed, etc. And it just looks stupid. And I know asymetrical designs are popular right now, but his lopsided outfits are just ridiculous, and there are so many examples I cant think of them all. Sasuke's onesie in the chuunin exam? :FFFFF And his color theory is gawdawful. Pre-timeskip Sakura looked like a xmas ornament. Her on-duty outfit now is pretty cool, but then she puts on that ugly white Tshirt and skirt for no apparent reason. As stated in another reply, Kishi needs lessons from Kubo Tite.

Itachi: As awesome as Itachi is, he definitely has his aspects of :FFF. For one, I think its fail to be so completely self sacrificing. He would give and do absolutely anything for Sasuke or Konoha if asked, to the point of ridiculousness. Its fail that he devalues himself completely as a human being with his own wants and needs and feelings.

The fail in DeiSaku (using canon!Dei and canon!Saku) lies in the fact they theyre both so stubborn, egotistical, and short tempered. They would fight constantly over stupid things and refuse to back down, and say things they dont mean (especially him) until it was a giant mess of :FFFF. then they would have hot sweaty make-up sex

Their volatility is part of what makes them so awesome, but its also the part that becomes fail when it goes to far. If they were a real life couple, their relationship would be pretty dysfunctional and borderline abusive.

if you mean otaku girls in the general sense of chicks who are into anime/manga...the fail would be when they let it overshadow real life, like when they fantasize about Kakashi or whoever during sex, or cant find a real man attractive because he doesnt look like a bishie with girly features and no body hair. :|
