Pick a paragraph (or any passage less than 500 words) from any fanfic I've written, and comment to this post with that selection. I will then give you a DVD commentary on that snippet: what I was thinking when I wrote it, why I wrote it in the first place, what's going on in the character's heads, why I chose certain words, what this moment means in the context of the rest of the fic, lots of awful puns, and anything else that you'd expect to find on a DVD commentary track.

Date: 2009-11-20 01:50 am (UTC)So yeah, when I wrote this scene I had every intention of having her be with Kakashi at the very end. Though as I've said before, I don't consider it a true love triangle/square because none of them overlapped. Sakura wasn't aware of Kakashi's feelings, or her own towards him, and he never interacted with Itachi. So. XD
The KakaSaku was planned, but the DeiSaku hints weren't. If I had known at the beginning that I would want to write a DeiSaku sequel, I probably wouldn't have had the KakaSaku stuff, but in the end I'm glad I did because I wanted to show that life - and love - go on, and that moving on doesn't lessen the significance of what you had before.
