Hah you had to pick the big one. Ok:

KakaSaku - OTP baby! Because its pure sexy.
DeiSaku - #2 OTP for the delicious volatility
ItaSaku - for the angst and drama and Itachi's sexiness.
SaiSaku - Because its just too adorable to not love.
YamaSaku - Because maybe Sakura wants a nice, uncomplicated guy for once.
GaaSaku - Because he needs major love and does a nice creepy/hot mix.
ShikaSaku - because theyre both super smart and he's sexy and generally awesome.
SasuSaku - only when she puts him in his place and he's not being a douche.
NaruSaku - very rarely like this, but there is an appeal to best friend romance, and it could very well end up canon.
PeinSaku - a couple good ones, though only where Konan is dead.
HidanSaku - not a big fan, but can you say angry!sex?

Ive never actually read a ShikaSaku, but yeah I agree,they are a little flat. They are the stable couple that isnt very exciting, but works. I think Sakura has a thing for bad boys, honestly. She has a lot of spirit and needs someone who can go toe to toe with her on all the different levels.

Randomsomeone is what got me into GaaraSakura, honestly. How and Why hits so very many of my kinks. (Not the least of which is that epically awesome scene where Gaara calls Kakashi on not teaching her better.)

And yes, Sakura goes for the bad boys. I think she needs a little misbehavior or else she'd get bored, and with someone like Lee, I honestly don't think she's quite (is smart the word I want to use?) mature enough to realize what a great boyfriend he could be.

It's freaking Lee - bottomless well of enthusiasm and hope - he could survive the apocalypse, see Konoha destroyed, be fighting off the undead hordes of his former friends and teammates, and STILL have an upbeat attitude.

Oh, yeah. How and Why was one of the first Naruto-fics I ever read. It briefly made Gaara/Sakura my OTP.

I kinda lost GaaSaku as an OTP when I had difficulty finding significant amounts of goodfic for it, though. :\

Anyway, I really love her dialogue. She also does a good crazy-ish Gaara.

funny story. How and Why was the first Naruto fic I ever read too! I was involved in Bleach fandom a bit and a friend recced me that fic. The rest is history. :D

I like NaruSaku mostly on the idea that, having suffered the same loss of a friend, their bond could strengthen into something really special one day. Plus, together, they have so much shared caring, emotional sense, and street smarts; they're both personable, extroverted people, and years from now, as proper adults, they could be a great Hokage team.

Sai/Sakura is cute in this innocent sort of way, because Sai is so guileless and fresh to human interaction. He thinks Sakura's pretty, and he's well-meaning, but he has no social skills. It's a very innocent-teenage-love sort of pairing. I like.

Pein/Sakura I'd have a hard time imagining. Even aside from Konan, Sakura is such a loving, expressive, extroverted person, I couldn't help thinking she'd be miserable with a guy as emotionally withdrawn/shut off/introverted as Pein is. Villain/good guy ships are a hard sell for me in general, but at least Deidara is expressive and emotional. Aha, perhaps a little too emotional at times.

I do think their bond could evolve into romantic love, but I also think they are very sibling-like in their dynamic and its perfectly fine to be BFFs with a member of the opposite sex and never go there.

I love SaiSaku because of that naivety. His crush on Sakura is quite obvious, and shes such a nurturer that she would definitely reach out to him. We see that in canon already. We also know she thinks he's cute too. XD

PeinSaku Ive only ever read like two that were viable, but yeah, Sakura would totally wither under his opressive emo and fanatic-ness. Its more appealing as a psychological exploration than romance.

What makes DeiSaku great is that they are so alike. Both tempermental and have easily bruised egos. Their fights would be extremely heated and their makeup sex even hotter. XDD

Yeah. I think it's not really present day Naruto/Sakura which appeals to me so much as it is the idea of what they could be years from now if they never re-unite with Sasuke. I like Jiraiya/Tsunade and Pein/Konan, too, so maybe I'm just weak for childhood friends who lose one of their team-mates and cling to each other in their loss.

Yeah. Pein is, to put it nicely, a deeply anti-social person with a whack of psychological problems and delusions. He and Konan only work well as a couple because she's sipping the same Kool-Aid -- and she's also an introvert. I'm a pretty big introvert irl myself, so I really like and can relate to introvert/introvert pairings, but I can see how such characters would be bad for most other potential partners. The average extrovert like Sakura needs a lot social stimulation, which is why I have to say I think Sasuke would be pretty bad for her unless he got over his ridiculousness, too.

I guess Deidara and Sakura do have that same fiery side to their personalities. Deidara is crazy, but he's a social sort of crazy. He's not an anti-social figure like Sasori, Pein, or Kakuzu (or even Sasuke). Hidan is pretty social, too, but perhaps too grating for someone like Sakura.

Only Sakura. I dont like or read yaoi, and I think all the other girls in the series would a) not be able to break through to Itachi the way Sakura's compassionate fiestiness could, and b) Itachi wouldnt find any of them interesting, for the same reason.

KakaRin, but Ive only read it in a past!KakaRin, present!KakaSaku context. He didnt love her or return her feelings beyond friendship, and I think if he gave into her and had a relationship with her it would be out of guilt and obligation to Obito, which is not a good thing. Kakashi might be self-loathing enough to actually do it, but I just cant get behind the idea to like the pairing.

KakaAyame (the ramen girl). Ive only thought about this in an abstract way, as a way to give him a girl when Sakura is with someone else. XD

KakaShizune. I think they would be cute together and would work as a couple. Maybe because she has a lot of the same traits as Sakura. But honestly I only really like her paired with Genma.

I totally agree with you on the KakaRin. His feelings for her were nothing more than tolerated team mate.

I could never get into the KakaAyame pairing. I don't know if it was because we know generally nothing about her except her and her dad run the ramen shop, but to me, she's too..small time, I suppose. Too insignificant a character.

It never crossed my mind to pair Kakashi and Shizune together. Like you, I prefer her paired with Genma. I can't quite wrap my brain around the idea of him with Shizune...it's just too weird to me.

Before I became aware of the fanfiction fandom related to Naruto, in my head, I had always thought KakaAnko would work. They are both so fucked up that the sex between the two would be...intense! But ever since I became hooked on KakaSaku, KakaAnko squicks me now. EW!

KakaKurenai...again, can't see this pairing working. Maybe friends with benefits sex when everyday life is too much and they need the stress relief, but as a solid lovey dovey couple...no way.

KakaIruka...even though I enjoy yaoi, this pairing just doesn't do it for me.

KakaGai - I just thought of that now...it'd be too fucking hilarious! I can just imagine Gai going into rival mode in all things concerning length, girth and staying techniques! XD Oh god, I'm so fucked in the head!

But over all, ever since I dived head first into the KakaSaku fandom, I just can't read Kakashi with anybody else but Sakura.
