Day 10 - Why aren't these two married in real life?

I can't really answer this, because they are fictional characters. Most of my ships are animated, so that's obviously out. And I don't confuse actors with the parts they play. It's awfully pretentious to assume two real people would make a good couple based on what you think you know of them by their job performance.

Btw, I didn't miss a day on accident. This one just didn't deserve it's own post.


Day 11 - What is your dream pairing?

Zuko/Katara. Seriously, they hit all of my Big Shipping Kinks. They have mad chemistry. They fight.  They understand each other. They support each other's choices. They are the perfect yin and yang; each one has what the other lacks (which is a theme that's repeated often: fire & water, day & night, even their skin colors). Neither is weaker than the other, physically or emotionally, so there is no imbalance of power. I once saw a saying somewhere: "love should be a balanced stalemate between equal adversaries". That epitomizes Zutara for me. And superficially? They are beautiful together. XD

Gawd I need to draw some Zutara now.
