Zuko and Katara. Why? Because they are fire and water and opposites attract...only they aren't really opposites. They get each other, in a way their designated partners never really did. They accept each other as they are, and not as they see each other in their heads.

And mostly. Because they weren't even a canon couple and everyone could see it. I think the obviousness of their chemistry was a big contributor to the level of insanity in the Zutara-Kataang ship war, and certainly the reason why Zutara was the most popular despite being non-canon. Even the creators realized it...and chose to mock it.

Haha its called vicarious living. I think about and create the romances I wish I could live. ...Mostly.

How are things going? Hope its simmered down a little. Amazingly I'm finding time to write despite schoolwork. Ive got ch 8 about halfway done, and there's a bit more I want to add on to 7 as well once I get round 1 back. I hope I'm not overloading you. I don't want to add to your stress. D:

dispatched the main-wave scourge of ugly today. they beat me up, but with the help of my awesome, wonderful friends, i have prevailed. their intelligence and support filled my tired lil heart with energy and love and joy. so now i can approach ch 7 with love, calm and focus (as opposed to a fractiously spazzing, adrenaline-soaked brain wave.)

you know, all kinds of progress in this world is so clearly enabled by positive emotions, love and joy. however did we all stray from what, surely, we all want the most?
