The new fic is finally posted! I'm really enjoying writing this one, and I'm excited to finally be writing my OTP. I hope everyone will love it as much as I do. XD

So glad you've started posting this story- been waiting years to read a full length Kakasaku from you! (And am drooling in anticipation of future art already! Christmas Confessions will always be in my Kakasaku top 10)

So many questions in response to this first chapter... Ino obviously, can't imagine what it will do to Shikamaru's already antisocial tendencies if he loses both teammates/childhood friends in one night... (LOVED the dad cameos btw) The fate of of the rest of the Rookie 9... Definitely can't see Kiba's family going the way of Hinata's- don't know enough to make a call on Shino's. I don't see Lee personally being okay with anyone going after Naruto (shame on Neji for that, also) and by extension I can't see Gai EVER getting behind Danzo. (Danzo clearly has no appreciation for the BEAUTY and POWER of YOUTH- probably because he is butt ugly SPOILERS (?) and has too many eyeballs in NOT natural places :shudder:)

Speaking of Danzo, I'm worried about the fate of two of the Third Hokage's grandchildren in this AU setting... One because of his loudmouthed Naruto loyalty and the other because it's either not born/a very young baby depending on your time line...

Also, yay for kickass!Sakura kicking ass, and Ino's courage for in trying to save her rival/bff.

Can't wait for the next chapter! :)

So far i really like it. I was holding my breath through the whole thing. I thought it might be a good idea if you posted a note on one of your older fanfic stories that you have so people know that you have a new and exciting story up.because I am sure people would love to read this one as well.
