FMA 108!

I bet half of you guys didn't even know I followed FMA, huh? Lol. Well I do, and my thoughts for the final chapter are:

Best. Manga. Ending. Ever.

I loved it. SO great. Nothing was left unresolved, and all my favorite pairings ended up together. :D

Edward gave the most ridiculous proposal ever, which was SO like him.

Al eventually got together with Mei (as shown in the family photo with Ed/Winry and their adorable fat babies) XD

Roy and Riza are still the Perfect Pairing, and though there wasn't a canon shot of them as a couple in the end, I believe it happened/will happen as they continue to work and live side by side. After all, they are the Most Obviously Implied Pairing Ever.

Hoenheim's ending was bittersweet, sad but fitting.

Overall I really liked the theme of redemption, but at the same time with ongoing obligation.

I will miss this series, as it was one of the best ever made and had very, very little fail, which is rare in manga, particularly shounen. I credit that to an awesome female author. XD I look forward to what she comes up with next!

I think I need some good FMA fanfic nao. Any suggestions? Preferably Roy/Riza or Ed/Win.

evil_little_dog writes some pretty good Ed/Win stuff, mostly oneshots or oneshot collections. I haven't read her Royai yet, but if it's anything like her Ed/Win, it's going to be good.

it sucks that its over. now the only mangas with no fail are D. Gray-Man and Soul Eater - both by women, hmm... - and Fairy Tail.

im excited to see what arakawa comes out with next though.

oh dang, i only watched the anime for d.gray-man and soul eater. i suppose i should read the manga; they're probably better... and i haven't started on fairy tail yet. i suppose i should. -no time- D:

I <3 D.Gray-Man. Allen Walker is my favorite manga character of all, because he's the only one who, if they were real, would not have any trait that would get on my nerves. He's totally anti-cliche, which is so rare in manga. He's a sweetheart and has a temper. He's the Nice Guy and the Badass. He's hapless and competent. And he's beautiful. XD

admittedly, allen's pretty cool, but lavi beats all, i think. :) there's just so much dynamic to his character, and so much past and depth. i don't know if the manga went in detail with his history, though... D: AND NO WAI, allen looks so weird after his transformation thingy.

I was so happy with the ending, which is a great surprise. Most shounen mangas have meh endings, but this one feels complete and right!
I would LOVE it if you did an Ed/Win fanfic!!! those two are just so much fun :)
