I have to admit, the KakaSaku fangirl in me flared up a little at the bottom of the page. There are a lot of ways to interpret his personal obligation and the following troubled silence. ;D On a related note, saw this today. It's from one of the artbooks. Look at Kakashi's eyeline....does it look like he's reading his book, or staring at Sakura's ass?

Danzou = EW. Die already pls.
Naruto = Wow, overreact much?
Sasuke = Still not worth mentioning.
Sakura = The only one with any balls right now.

I know, right? I think the KakaSaku subtext is real (thats not the first time there's been something suggestive between them in canon), I just don't necessarily think Kishi is aware of it.

Heh... Even though I've never really been into sensei/gakusei pairings, I wouldn't mind KakaSaku at all. In fact, if I had to choose between NaruSaku and KakaSaku, I'd definitely go for the latter. So why don't you get on with it already, Kishimoto?!

Seriously, it's a pity that teacher/student relationships are generally considered a bit of a tabu in Japan (as well), so I'd be somewhat surprised if this pairing actually made it to the canon. But you're right about that picture - he is checking out her ass. And looking quite pleased while doing that, too.

I think for most KakaSaku fans its not even the student/teacher thing. We love the chemistry and how they always seem to be on the same wavelength. The student/teacher aspect is just an extra factor we have to incorporate...though it is kinda hot as long as theyre both adults. XD

I think the KakaSaku undertones in canon are pretty blatant sometimes. Of course it will never happen because of the taboo and the fact that its a teen manga, but sometimes I wonder if Kishi has a little teacher/student fetish. ;)

Me too, I thought so XD But... It's not only there, we can see this for the KakaSasu ship and the way he felt about Sasuke or why not? The Uchihacest XD And more important, the strange relationship between Naruto and Sasuke... because, all we know Naruto is absolutely in love with him (but I guess It is a lose fight. I think Kishimoto likes screwing with us all. I think he secretly looks online and sees how many people love KakaSaku and goes, "Well.. let's cater to them right now.." Like JK Rowling and the Harry Potter movies. Kept throwing in all those Harry/Hermione moments. She had my friend spitting nails.

Like really, can Kishi get any stupider, though? An ARM with a bunch of Sharingan? What can they do on your ARM? I hate convenient plot devices.

Personally, I don't think Kishimoto cares enough for the ladies to really to give KakaSaku their due - if he did, there would have been a moment of Kakashi actually spending quality time with Sakura, like he did with Naruto and Sasuke.

But on the other hand, Kishimoto is the biggest troll ever, so there's always that possibility. But that's giving the man too much credit.

Yeah the new artbook has been out for close to a year now I think. I downloaded it from somewhere a long time ago. Though the Naruto artbooks aren't nearly as good as the Bleach artbooks. Kubo Tite is an amazing colorist (and men's fashion designer lolol).

Yeah I wonder if all the Kakasaku hints are even intentional - not that I'm complaining! And it's funny because I was such a devout Sasusaku shipper - then Sakura haru's Book of Five Rings happened, then I discovered Itasaku... haha I'm so disloyal.

Either way - it does look like Kakashi's starting at Sakura's ass. It's the pervert in him :)

Speaking of which - how's Vespertine coming along? I can't wait for the next chappie - such a great story :)

Yeah, me too! After some thought though, I think it actually has something to do with the whole Naruto collapse thing... remember ages back Itachi made Naruto swallow a crow or something... maybe it was a seal that activated when Naruto believed Sasuke was a traitor... I mean, I'd love for Itachi's 'alive-ness' to be real - but Kishi can only get away with resurrecting so many people...

I think I just hit a major all-time depression. Though it won't last very long. I hope. My anti KakaSakuness always leaves me in pits of depression whenever it's hinted in canon or when I see epic fanarts. It would be easier to just accept it, but my Kakashi fangirl-ness doesn't enable me to. ANYWAY, I didn't notice that Kakashi could be staring at Sakura's butt in that picture till you said. Gaah. It DOES look like he is. And why did I only notice that now? That was so hard for me to admit.
Hmph, at the end of 476...I can see why it would get people's KakaSaku fan-isms *not a word, but I don't care* going...though Kakashi would do that for a lot of people I would believe, but that's my opinion. We'll see...And Danzou a whole arm of sharingans is a little much. And icky. He can't have THAT long left.
And 477? I think Kishi's running idea-less. Death has no boundaries. Unless it's a genjutsu.
